Rockwell Collins’ second generation dPAVES drop-down in-flight entertainment (IFE) platform is among the package of avionics and systems selected by Jazeera Airways for 30 Airbus A320 aircraft.
The deal, inked 15 November at the Dubai air show, also includes Rockwell Collins’ multiscan hazard detection system, traffic collision avoidance system (TCAS) and data link system.
Financial terms have not been released.
Jazeera s has been a customer of Rockwell Collins’ avionics and IFE systems since it launched service in 2005.

Designed for single-aisle aircraft, the dPAVES broadcast digital server offers 160 gigabyte storage capability, integrated pre-recorded announcement machine functionality and embedded Airshow moving map – all in one 4 MCU box.
