National Air Services (NAS) of Saudi Arabia has firmed up a deal to buy 20 Airbus A320 family aircraft. Yesterday’s signing confirms an earlier agreement made at Paris air show earlier this year. The deal was for an undisclosed amount. NAS carrier Nasair, the first budget carrier in the Kingdom, will receive all of the aircraft. The airline is developing a domestic network of routes before turning its attention to international routes next year.
