A new charter service provider in Abu Dhabi, International Business Center, has become the first Gulf customer for the Gulfstream G200 aircraft.
The deal was completed at the show yesterday when the company’s general manager Ahmed Hassan Ahmed al Housani signed the contract for the large-cabin, mid-size G200, which will be delivered in the first quarter of 2009 to launch the new charter company.
“We plan to offer our customers the very best,” says Al Housani, “The G200 features a roomy stand-up cabin that is the most spacious in its class.”
Gulfstream’s Joe Lombardo welcomed the purchase and wished the company “utmost success” with the venture. The G200 can fly 3,400nm non-stop, easily connecting Abu Dhabi with Paris, Beijing and Bangkok.
