Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) has launched a non-stop three times a week service from Dubai to the Danish capital of Copenhagen - the first direct flight from the UAE to Scandinavia.
Europe’s fourth largest airline group has targeted the Middle East as a new growth market, says Per Moller Jensen, Head of Europe, Middle East and Africa at SAS. “There is huge potential for SAS to develop regionally further as other GCC countries such as Oman and Bahrain are also becoming popular leisure and business destinations for Nordic travellers.”
