Lockheed Martin is continuing discussions with Mubadala Development Company over a joint venture to provide technical services and aircraft sustainment services to the UAE and other armed forces in the region. Mubadala is a wholly-owned investment vehicle of the government of Abu Dhabi.
The discussions centre around contractor-led support services and got underway following the signing of a memorandum of understanding at this year’s Paris airshow. “Our role as the product support integrator allows our customers to benefit from a single point of contact,” says Willy Moore, vice-president and deputy, Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Global Sustainment.
