Honeywell's new head of business for Europe, Middle East and Africa made his own Dubai airshow debut yesterday,
As Honeywell's senior Aerospace executive in Europe, Eric Hinson (pictured above) will lead all Honeywell commercial aerospace activities and will provide in-region support to Defense and Space activities. He is based at Honeywell's regional office at Levallois-Perret near Paris.
Hinson joins Honeywell from Gulfstream Aerospace. Prior to that he was with International Lease Finance (ILFC) as director of marketing.
Honeywell was in good spirits yesterday having signed a $100 million extended agreement to supply aerospace hardware to Vought Aircraft Industries over the next five years.
The agreement calls for Honeywell's Hardware Product Group (HPG) to supply a wide variety of fasteners, seals, gaskets, shims, clamps, fittings and bushings, combined with the management of more than 20,000 parts bins within the Vought assembly operations for these parts.
