ExecuJet has put on static display at the show two Bombardier aircraft that have been added to its Middle East charter fleet: a Challenger 605 and a Challenger 850.
"Aircraft sales in the region have been positive with a number of aircraft being delivered recently," said Andrew Hoy, managing director, ExecuJet Aircraft Trading.
"Our current areas of focus are the CIS countries and Saudi Arabia," he added.
The Challenger 850 is the first to be based in the region and joined ExecuJet's fleet in October. An Embraer Lineage 1000 will arrive in mid-January 2012, becoming the largest member of Execujet's 22-strong managed fleet. The 19-seat aircraft will be based in Dubai and will be offered alongside ExecuJet's existing aircraft, which include the Learjet 60, the Hawker Beechcraft 800XP, the Dassault Falcon 900DX and the Global 5000.
ExecuJet said its FBO in Dubai has seen a 20% increase in aircraft movements this year, handling an average of 300 per month. Demand in Saudi Arabia and Qatar has been particularly strong, it added.
