EADS is showcasing its Network Centric Operation Simulation (NETCOS) demonstrator at Le Bourget (Hall 5a, E9b). NETCOS simulates, in a synthetic computerised environment, how different pieces of equipment may perform in real life.
During the show, the NETCOS demonstrator will present a scenario illustrating a quick command chain involved in the destruction of time-critical targets such as surface-to-surface missile launchers.
The system's ability to model and interact with equipment that may or may not even exist in real-life will enable EADS to better respond to its customers' needs in terms of the performance of new equipment.
Stefan Zoller, chief executive of EADS Systems and Defence Electronics Division, says: "NETCOS has involved the best EADS defence and simulation resources.
