The new Embraer MSJ/MLJ family of business aircraft will feature Honeywell’s 36-150 auxiliary power unit (APU), as well as the HTF7500E turbofan propulsion system, the supplier announced at EBACE.

The 36-150 APU, mated with an air-cycle air conditioning system, provides high pneumatic performance to minimize aircraft pre-flight cooling and heating times. In addition to providing pneumatic power, the APU drives a high-output electrical generator to power cockpit and cabin galley systems, independent of main-engine or ground-power operation.
