Prestige Jet of Abu Dhabi used EBACE to take the opportunity to commit to an innovative new venture on the airshow calendar.
The Bahrain airshow takes place next January,organised by Farnborough International in conjunction with the Bahrain government.
The event is being hosted by the King of Bahrain and unlike other shows, does not have an exhibition attached. "This is a real opportunity to provide hospitality to top VIP customers and talk seriously to them as well as taking the opportunity to fly demonstration flights," says organiser Philippa Ewart.
The show will take place at the King's private runway at Sakhir airbase, near the Gulf island's Formula 1 race track. It is limited to just 40 chalets."We are getting some great names interested in the show," says Ewart. "We are confident that it will be a great success."
