Bombardier has rolled out its first of several Apple iPad apps, focusing initially on a document management tool for business jet pilots.
The app will become available to Challenger and Global aircraft operators in June and to Learjet pilots by the end of the year, Bombardier says.
The system allows pilots to receive and implement all flight manual revisions, including temporary updates, with an encryption-protected audit trail for government regulators to validate.
