Honeywell and flight-planning specialist Jetex have signed a deal at the show to offer each other's flight support products around the globe.

Under the agreement, Jetex will re-sell Honeywell's Global Data Center flight support services, including Flight Sentinel dispatching and datalink capabilities, to European, Middle Eastern and Asia-Pacific customers for the first time: until now, the product has only been available in North America.

Honeywell customers will be able to use Jetex's international flight-planning services around the world.

The partnership was signed at the show by Adel Mardini, Jetex president and chief executive - who launched the Dubai-based company at EBACE seven years ago - and Honeywell executives Carl Esposito, vice-president marketing and product management, and Rob Wilson, president of business and general aviation.
