Horizon Swiss Flight Academy is attending EBACE to unveil its new operator-specific initial and recurrent training programme.
The courses are provided in accordance with EU-OPS requirements and JAR-FCL, says Horizon's Nicolas Bachmann. "We saw a real need emerging from our customers. They want to cover regulatory requirements effectively, as well as reduce their administration costs by passing the organisation and supervision of their crew ratings to us."
Bachmann says operators save money by passing their flight and cabin crew training to Horizon. The academy then manages all the required paperwork. It also has its own on-site instructors, saving on extra operator staff costs.
