Qatar Airways' corporate jet division Qatar Executive is at EBACE to highlight its expanded services at Doha International airport.
The company has received Qatari civil aviation authority certification and EASA Part-145 approval to support Bombardier aircraft registered in Europe and Qatar. It also received CAA approval in April to perform base maintenance services for Bombardier's Challenger 604s, 605s and Global series.
Qatar Airways chief Akbar Al Baker says: "EBACE is a key industry event for us and provides the perfect platform to promote Qatar Executive to a wide audience, including business leaders, government officials and all the major corporate aircraft manufacturers.
"As the economy of Qatar continues to drive forward at lightning pace, global leaders and corporates are flocking in with their private jets on a daily basis and we look forward to providing them with a wide range of top-notch business aviation services.
"Our enhanced maintenance offering, allowing selected aircraft types to undergo maintenance in Qatar, is an attractive service for business aviation operators and private jet owners and an important step towards establishing Qatar Executive, not just as a leading charter operator, but also as a premier maintenance, repair and overhaul facility for private jets across the Middle East."
