VistaJet [stand 2225] was in record-breaking mode at EBACE this morning as it enrolled 50 Bombardier aircraft into the JSSI Platinum engine and APU hourly cost maintenance programmes. The deal is valued at more than $205 million.
The contract for Global 5000s and 6000s - part of the largest business aircraft order ever, made by VistaJet at NBAA in November 2012 - was signed at the show today.
"Having our engines and APUs on a JSSI maintenance programme is critical to VistaJet's business model, and adds another dimension of service to the standard maintenance programme," says VistaJet chairman and founder Thomas Flohr.
VistaJet has already experienced the programme having had two Globals and an AgustaWestland helicopter enrolled with JSSI.
"This is the largest single enrolment for any hourly cost maintenance programme that we are aware of," says JSSI chief executive Neil Book.
JSSI's Platinum deal includes coverage for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, rental engines, supplemental lift, removal and replacement of engines, shipping and repair, and replacement of life-limited parts.
