Elbit Systems, teamed with Rafael, has been chosen by the Israeli government to complete the development of an advanced self-protection suite against shoulder-launched missiles.
Designed to protect fixed wing aircraft, Elbit's (C18 Hall, Stand 1) Multi Spectral Infrared Countermeasures (MUSIC) breaks a missile's lock on its target.
The Israeli ministry of transport and ministry of defence have selected the Rafael-Elbit Systems protection suite as the long-term solution for the Civil Aviation Protection Plan.
