Israeli electronics specialist Elisra has won a $40 million contract with Argentina to provide a sensor-systems upgrade for the air force's Grumman S-2E Trackers. The deal is dependent on Elisra offering a suitable funding package to overcome Argentinean budgetary problems. It will install new radar and will also replace the aircraft's electronic-intelligence sensors.
