The Brazilian government has received the first of two Embraer 190 regional jets. The VIP-configured aircraft will be used to transport the country's president and other senior government officials and will be operated by the Brazilian air force, which also flies other Embraer types including an ERJ-135, ERJ-145, Legacy 600, EMB-120 Brasilia and EMB-121 Xingu. The second E-190 is scheduled for delivery next year.
