Embraer is bolstering its business jet support offering for its Asia Pacific-based customers as demand for its expanding aircraft family continues to grow throughout the region.

The Brazilian airframer says all aircraft parts and logistics support will be managed from its regional distribution centre in Singapore, which will also be extended to cater for the expected rise in business.

"Previously held at the company's facilities in Paris, the relocation of these parts to Singapore will enable sharper turnaround times for parts replacements for the company's executive jet customers throughout Asia Pacific," says Embraer.

The centre will have more capabilities to handle customer support activities for business jet customers, on top of existing support for its commercial aircraft clients, it adds.

Embraer's materials support team - which was previously based across two locations - has been centralised in Singapore.
