AlliedSignal is offering a new engine to Embraer for its proposed EMB-135 30-seat regional jet.
The AS108 is a derivative of the AlliedSignal LF507 with a new fan, low-pressure turbine and several core changes.
It will compete with the Pratt & Whitney Canada PW308B and a derated Allison AE3007. An August decision is expected.
