Eurofighter has named Filippo Bagnato, head of Alenia's Aeronautics division, as chairman for the next two years. Bagnato replaces Daimler-Benz Aerospace military aircraft chief Aloysius Rauen. Bagnato has led the Italian Eurofighter partner company's aerospace division since April 1996, after having worked for two years as senior vice-president of technology development and new programmes and serving on the board of the Panavia, Eurofighter and AMX International consortia.
