Eurofighter resumed flight testing last week, after accident investigators concluded the later engines powering the remaining development aircraft are not susceptible to the problem that caused the 21 November loss of DA6, when its two early development (03A standard) Eurojet EJ200s surged and flamed out. Investigators noted "only one other Eurofighter in the fleet has the same older engines, and these are being removed and replaced with a later standard pending further investigation".
