EPI Europrop International (Hall 4A, B17) has launched a new website especially for the 2005 Paris airshow: www.europrop.aero.

The site - ideal, EPI claims, for industry professionals, aviation enthusiasts, journalists and students - is divided into eight main sections providing a plethora of information about the company, along with details of how Europe's best aero-engine technologies are supporting pan-European defence.

Created

Europrop was created by four leading European engine makers - ITP, MTU, Rolls-Royce and Snecma - to manage the TP400-D6 programme that will eventually power the Airbus Military A400M military transport aircraft.

When it runs, the engine will be the most powerful turboshaft engine in the West and will feature a three-shaft configuration delivering maximum power of 11,000shp (8,200kW). More than 750 engines will be required for the 180 A400M aircraft ordered to date by the launch countries.
