Virgin Nigeria is poised to introduce the first six ex-EasyJet Boeing 737-300s to supplement four Airbus A340-300s already operated by the airline.

The carrier was formed last year, following the collapse of Nigeria Airways, as a joint venture in which Virgin Atlantic holds 49%, with the rest held by local investors. The 737s are being painted by Air Livery, with pre-delivery maintenance undertaken by ATC Lasham.
