Three ex-Malev Boeing 737-800 aircraft have found new homes at Czech Republic's Travel Service and Russia's Yakutia Airlines and S7 Airlines.
The three 2003/04-vintage aircraft are owned by International Lease Finance Corporation (ILFC) and are in storage in Shannon.
Malev stopped operations on 3 February and ILFC started to store six 737-600s, seven 737-700s and three 737-800s the following day. A fourth 737-800 aircraft, owned Macquarie AirFinance, is currently being parked in Toulouse, France.
Flightglobal Finance reported last month that Russian carrier Transaero has agreed to lease all Boeing 737-700s from ILFC while the six 737-600s will be disassembled by ILFC's subsidiary AeroTurbine at the Goodyear facility in Phoenix.
