Dassault's first Falcon 7X business jet has arrived at the airframer's completion centre in Little Rock, Arkansas as it is prepared for service entry in the second quarter.
The 7X, serial number 5, made its ferry flight to Little Rock on 12 December accompanied by a green Falcon 2000EX. The aircraft is scheduled for European and US certification in March and will be handed over to its as-yet unannounced European launch customer soon after.
Little Rock, Dassault's largest facility, has dedicated four hangars totalling 9,200m2 (99,000ft2) for 7X completions. The 7X flight test and certification programme has accumulated about 1,300h over 450 flights, says the company.
Dassault has clinched more than 125 orders for the 7X to date and plans to deliver 80 Falcons this year.
