The Guild of Air Pilots & Air Navigators (GAPAN) is planning to expand its sphere of influence into international markets.
“Our main objective, other than to promote the principles of being a City Livery Company, is to help set and maintain standards of safety and conduct among pilots and navigators and be available for advice and consultation on all aspects of flying,” says master Rick Peacock-Edwards.
The Guild has already established regional interests in Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand and is now actively exploring the extension to include South Africa and Canada, as well as sow seeds in the USA and the Middle East.
