Pattonair Americas has announced it is to supply turnkey warehouse management services for Turbomeca USA.

Following an analysis of Turbomeca’s supply chain activities, Pattonair revealed significant opportunities for improvement in the areas of warehouse layout, parts delivery to the production lines and other ancillary services.

The company is now providing a direct-to-line-feed for production parts, as well as assuming other warehousing operations at Turbomeca’s facility in Grand Prairie, Texas.

“The goal is clear: to become the industry’s benchmark in helicopter engine production and support,” said Larry Alexandre, Turbomeca USA’s chief operating officer. “Pattonair is one key piece of the puzzle which will enable us to reach this goal.”

Turbomeca, which is part of France’s Safran Group, has produced over 50 000 turbines based on its own designs and has more than 2,200 customers in more 150 countries.
