B/E Aerospace has launched a new sweep-on full-face crew oxygen mask for retrofit on military aircraft. The system, called QDM, has a lower unit cost to the commercial version and provides smoke and hypoxia protection in less than five seconds. The updated military unit now has a built-in visor, doing away with separate goggles. The company says the lens provides the largest field of view of any full-face mask and can be worn with glasses.
