Adhesives supplier R D Taylor is hoping to win new customers for its flame-resistant and low-density filler at the show.
The 3M Flame Smoke and Toxicity range of products is already being used on in-operation aircraft, says R D Taylor's national sales manager Dick Kanikula.
Such flame-resistant material is used for aircraft parts such as the wing, interior cabin, floor and parts of the seats.
At the show, R D Taylor is hoping to target companies that are contractors to airframers. "We come totally open-minded, and we hope to not just meet existing customers but to also seek out new opportunities," says Kanikula.
