Flightglobal writers were flying at the Aerospace Journalist of the Year Awards, held on the eve of the air show, taking home four of the 15 categories.
Flight International editor Murdo Morrison was named overall Aerospace Journalist of the Year. He also collected Best Air Show Submission for a scene-setter on the Middle East aviation sector ahead of last year's Dubai air show.
The magazine's deputy editor Max Kingsley-Jones won the Air Transport category for his in-service report on the Airbus A380, a warts-and-all report from the three launch operators on their early experience of the superjumbo.
