UK holiday carrier Thomas Cook Airlines has selected Safran Group's Messier Services division to provide support for Airbus A320 landing gear.
The two sides are to sign a formal agreement at the Farnborough air show, says Messier. It will cover landing-gear exchange and overhaul on 23 A320s and A321s.
The pact means Messier Services supports landing-gear overhaul - including those on A330s - for all Airbuses for Thomas Cook's UK, Scandinavian and Belgian operations.
Thomas Cook signed an A330 landing-gear contract with the firm three years ago. This work is carried out at Messier Services France, while A320-family overhauls are performed in the UK.
