Rockwell Collins is hoping to be in a position to announce additional packages on the Comac C919 within the next 90 days, and has some separate cabin deals up its sleeve for later this week at Farnborough.
Executive vice-president and chief operating officer of commercial systems Kent Statler says Rockwell Collins is "in continued competition on two to three additional packages" on the C919, and is hoping to be able to announce something "over the next 60-90 days".
The company has already been contracted by China's Comac to supply communication, navigation and surveillance equipment for the C919.

"We'll be meeting with Comac this week, but will be continuing discussions rather than making any announcements at the show," says Statler.
Rockwell Collins, which is showcasing its Pro Line Fusion integrated avionics suite at its stand during the show, is planning to make "a couple of announcements on the cabin side" later this week.
The company is heavily involved in supplying avionics for the Boeing 787, which represents its largest content deal ever on a commercial aircraft.
Statler says the 787's arrival at Farnborough on Sunday was a proud moment for Rockwell Collins: "To see it make its maiden international voyage was extremely exciting and we are very proud to be part of the Boeing team as this innovative aircraft enters the marketplace," he says.
