China-based Hainan Airlines has selected Rockwell Collins to service and support its order for 10 Boeing 787-8 aircraft.
The 10-year agreement will begin upon delivery of Hainan's first 787 from Boeing, which is expected in September, according to Flightglobal's Ascend database.
Rockwell will provide the services under its dispatch programme, which includes guaranteed spare parts, systems updates, technical repairs and performance monitoring.
"Our ability to provide fast, reliable, in-country support through our in-country logistics partner was a key factor in this win," Scott Gunnufson, vice-president and general manager of service solutions for Rockwell Collins, said in a statement.
