Two icons of the UK aerospace sector joined up yesterday to make a spectacular fly-by appearance at the show. Nine BAE Systems Hawks from the Royal Air Force's Red Arrows aerobatic display team led restored Cold War veteran Avro Vulcan XH558 down the centreline, giving visitors a taste of the weekend flying display at Farnborough.
