Boeing Airplane Services (BAS) delivered the first converted Boeing 747-300 Special Freighter (SF) to launch customer Atlas Air earlier this month. It was converted at BAS' Wichita, Kansas, plant. The company is modifying two more aircraft. Dragonair is planning to acquire two BAS-converted ex-Singapore Airlines 747-300SFs early next year.
