Lithuania-based FL Technics Training has signed an agreement to provide Boeing 737 technical training to South American maintenance service company Aeroman.
Some 200 employees of Aeroman are already engaged in a series of courses established by FL Technics, including heat training work and “theoretical, practical and interior courses” related to 737 Next Generation aircraft, says FL Technics.
The agreement comes as regional South American carriers are expanding their fleet, which is driving greater demand for MRO services, says Kestutis Volungevicius, FL Technics’ head of training.
FL Technics notes that it recently received a technical training certificate from El Salvador’s Civil Aviation Authority.
That document allows the company to provide base, type and specialised technical training courses to airlines and MRO providers.
