Russian state lessor GTLK is to acquire additional locally-manufactured L-410 turboprops which will be offered to the country's airlines for modernisation.
GTLK has reached an agreement with International Investment Bank to increase the limit of a loan to €90 million ($100 million) – the equivalent of about Rb6.6 billion.
These funds will be allocated to a programme for fleet replenishment under a Russian government degree issued in August last year.
The L-410s will be manufactured by Ural civil aircraft plant UZGA.
GTLK says the agreement follows on from a €75 million pact last year with International Investment Bank intended to acquire aircraft from UZGA and Russian Helicopters, as well as vehicles.
