Jet Airways' latest order for 75 additional Boeing 737 Max aircraft takes its total backlog for the re-engined jets to 205 units.
The carrier confirms to FlightGlobal that the announcement on 25 June is a "fresh order", and deliveries of all of the aircraft will take place "over the next decade".
Jet has not indicated the specific variant of the Max being purchased in the latest deal.
The airline first placed orders for 75 737 Max 8s at the 2015 Dubai air show, but later reduced that order to 54 aircraft. It then placed a second order for 75 737 Max jets in April.
In addition to the aircraft it has ordered, Jet has committed to lease in six aircraft from GECAS.
The airline took delivery of its first 737 Max 8 on 20 June. Flight Fleets Analyzer shows that is is scheduled to take delivery of eight more of the jets by the end of the year.
