Canadian completions and engineering company Flying Colours has delivered its first special mission Bombardier CRJ ExecLiner conversion to Sharjah, UAE-based operator Eagle Aviation. The modified CRJ200 – a former US commercial airliner – has been configured with a VIP interior that can be adapted for medication evacuation missions. “The interior of the aircraft has been outfitted with three separate zones that can be adapted for each specific charter request,” says Flying Colours. Two forward VIP areas feature a front section with two facing business class seats and a settee that can be converted for use in medevac mission into a full-size certificated stretcher. A mid section features four business class seats in a club-style interior, while the aft cabin is fitted with 22 economy-style seats. Flying Colours says its is in discussion with a number of clients who are looking at other CRJ special mission modifications.
