Fractional fall

Falling demand for fractional ownership has hit pilot recruitment at the major providers, says pilot data specialist Aviation Information Resources (AIR). Atlanta, Georgia-based AIR says the four largest fractional providers - NetJets, Flight Options, Bombardier Flexjet and Citation Shares, hired 92 pilots in the first five months of this year, compared with 559 in the same period last year.
