Freedom Air International has been awarded its Air Service Certificate from the civil-aviation authorities of Australia and New Zealand, enabling it to operate aircraft in its own right. The Auckland, New Zealand-based charter airline, which was formed in 1995 and is part of the Mount Cook group, has previously wet-leased aircraft, but has now introduced a 141-seat Boeing 737-300 on lease from European lessor Pembroke.
