Operating lessor GECAS saw its net earnings increase 8% to $332 million during the first quarter.

The profit came on a 1% increase to $2.89 billion in revenues at the lessor’s parent GE Capital during the period, a quarterly financial filing shows. GE Capital reports a loss of $893 million.

GECAS' assets decreased 1% to $46.2 billion year-over-year during the first quarter.

The lessor made a number of aircraft deliveries during the period, including Airbus A320-family aircraft to Qingdao Airlines and Boeing 737s to Air India Express and Okay Airways.
