Berlin-based charter carrier Germania has named Andreas Wobig as its new chief executive.
Wobig succeeds Axel Trampnau with immediate effect. Trampnau has left his post for personal reasons, the airline said.
Trampnau was at the helm of the company for about two years.
Wobig was previously chief technology officer and managing director of maintenance subsidiary Germania Technik Brandenburg, a position he held since early 2011.
The airline has also appointed Berlin-based lawyer Karsten Balke to the executive board. He has represented majority shareholder Ingrid Bischoff in the past.
