UK regional airline Gill Airways, of Newcastle Airport, has appointed a new managerial team to consolidate its recent expansion. Investor-appointed new group chairman Bill Price has appointed general manager Malcolm Hart managing director. Colin Pollard, general manager (commercial), becomes commercial director; chief pilot Walter Casey joins the board; and accountant Kevin Watson is named company secretary. Trefor Jones, who was chief executive of the airline's holding company, New Aviation Holdings, has left the company, as has the company's finance director, Michael Robinson.
