Global Wings plans to take delivery of its second Bombardier Learjet 45XR next month and shortly thereafter receive its Japanese air operator’s certificate. Global Wings launched early last year with one Learjet 45XR operated by Air China. The second aircraft, to be based in Osaka Kansai, will be used for domestic flights within Japan and international flights from Japan. The aircraft was originally scheduled for delivery in January, but was delayed because Bombardier is still working on certificating the Learjet 45XR with the Japan Civil Aviation Bureau.
