One of the stars of Asian Aerospace does not actually fly, but it does just about anything else. It's the All Terrain Tracked Carrier (ATTC), due to be launched today.
The latest product from Singapore Technologies Kinetics, the 5t payload capacity ATTC will go virtually anywhere on land or water.
The product of more than four years of research, the all-terrain, multi-purpose articulated tracked carrier is designed for transporting military hardware and troops or for commercial applications.
"The ATTC can be custom-built to specific conditions, providing a quantum leap in operational capability required of fighting forces in the new millennium," says Wu Tzu Chien, president of ST Kinetics.
As well as handling every terrain, from mud to snow, the ATTC can "swim", with a top speed of 5kph in water. Top speed on land is 60kph.
