Brazilian budget carrier Gol has contracted MTU to maintain the engines across its fleet.
The airline inked an exclusive five-year MRO deal worth $440 million, covering both on-wing maintenance and shop visits for its CFM International CFM56-7B engines.
Gol operates an all-Boeing 737 fleet which comprises 25 737-700s and 81 737-800s, according to Flightglobal's Ascend Online database.
