Goodrich (Hall 2B, H11) has been chosen to provide wheels and brakes for Air France's new fleet of Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. The agreement also covers wheel overhaul for Air France's entire Boeing fleet.
Air France is the launch airline for the -300ER programme with first deliveries due in Spring 2004.
"Goodrich is proud to be the first supplier of wheels and brakes to be certified on the Boeing 777-300ER programme and the wheel and brake supplier selected by the launch customer, Air France," says Jennifer Pollino, president, Aircraft Wheels and Brakes division. "This selection was due in part to our flexibility in meeting the evolving needs of our customers coupled with an innovative and comprehensive support package."
