Goodrich has completed a $1.5 million expansion of its Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facilities in Australia and Canada. The sites, in Sydney and Montreal, provide MRO support for helicopter servo-control actuators for customers in Asia/Pacific, Canada and North America.

Goodrich says the company's existing maintenance centre in Paris, France will continue to perform maintenance for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Theunis Botha, President Actuation Systems, says: "Our investment in both the Sydney and Montreal facilities is a reflection of the significant growth within the Eurocopter fleet over the last several years, particularly in the civil sector.

"This positions Goodrich for further growth in this market as we provide customers with reduced turnaround times, improved quality and benefits such as streamlined logistics, optimised repair cost and improved repair management."
